Susan R. Tafaro, age 64, passed away peacefully after a long journey with dementia at her home on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born in Richland Center in 1960 to Alfred and Erma (Hartley) Chroninger. She married Daniel Tafaro on March 19, 2013, in Amelia Island, Florida. Susan worked for many years as a Hairdresser, before she switched careers. She then worked for Dean Medical Group for over 25 years.

Susan took special joy in her friends, including the Cardio Gals. She loved shopping, especially for shoes, and finding the perfect piece of furniture she could refinish for her home. She took solace in nature and had a fondness for animals, especially cats.

Susan is survived by her husband Dan; her children; Mychela (Andrew) Burkhart of Madison, Keaton Youngs of Madison; a sister Kelly (Don) Washburn of Beloit, a brother Arlen Chroninger of Beaver Dam and the father of her children Michael Youngs, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.  She was preceded in death by her parents: 2 brothers, Cameron and Monte, and a sister, Holly.

A celebration of life will take place on her birthday, May 18th, 2025, at Genisa Wine Bar in Janesville, WI.
